If any of you have dug into THE Giftology way, or even read Giftology the book, you may have picked up on John Ruhlins "gifting super power. Little hint: It's knives, Cutco knives! Selling these things is what started it all and with his knowledge of the value of the product, and his connection with it, he has made giving a knife set his go-to gift. He takes what seems to be a simple gift, and twists it in ways that feels personal to every relationship he nurtures. And here's the key...it never fails!
The Jaguars premium seating executives wanted to engage the top 100 prospective companies and their CEOs to attend an event hosted by their CEO. The goal was to create an exclusive and intimate setting to discuss ways these companies could begin a partnership and use the Jaguars as a tool to grow their companies. The item selected was a custom engraved and packaged Cutco Santoku Chef Knife that was hand couriered to each prospect.

John's gifting superpower, and his story are amazing, but I think it's important to close how exactly finding your "gifting superpower" came to be....because it has yet to be articulated in this way anywhere within Giftology.
I became known as the "photo book girl", in the best way possible. When you turned 16, you received a photo book. When you graduated High School or College, you knew one was coming. And if you took me on a vacation, you could bet that about a week later, all of our memories were encapsulated in a little book for your coffee table...you get the point.
The reaction I received the first time I ever gave a personalized photo book was overwhelming, and that's probably the first time the power of gifting all clicked for me. The recipient was genuinely moved, tears and all. They could not believe that I sat down, and took the time to put together this collection of memories for them....and that reaction NEVER changed. But you know what did? The TIME that it takes me to do it.
From doing it over and over again, I can throw a personalized photo book together in a quarter of the time. I have the layout and process set and ready to go.
So...
