Have you read this study?

Sara Hardwick

94% of respondents to a SmartGift consumer survey stated that personalizing gifts with things like cards and wrapping is more important than not....

"Gifting behavior rests on a complex of psychology and fascinating science. It is a natural conclusion that the more thought a gift sender puts into the gift, the closer and more satisfied both parties feel. A big asymmetry exists however in how gift senders and recipients view the link between gift price and feelings of appreciation. Studies show that gift senders believe the more they spend on a gift, the more the recipient will appreciate it. In reality, recipients will appreciate it. In reality, recipients show no such bias. For gift senders, the more expensive gift is the result of an egocentric bias. Gift senders tend to overspend each time they set out to buy a meaningful gift to send a 'stronger signal' to the intended recipient."

Takeaway #1: It's the thought that DOES count.

Takeaway #2: You do NOT need to spend a ton on a gift to make someone feel appreciated.

And both of those points work in your favor. Solo-pro's and small business professionals can still outdo the Goliath's of our industry with focusing on the details.....

So that is exactly what we are going to learn, share & teach in this topic. Pulling off the wow for YOU is going to consist of paying attention to the details, following through at the right time, and creating a gifting experience that the recipient will remember forever.

And all that, comes from science..seriously! Did you read the study???
